Hours: 37 hours per week (8am – 4pm)

We are looking to appoint an early years SEND Assistant from 24th February 2025 on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will be qualified to Level 3 in Early Years. They will be self-motivated but a team player at heart, able to see the value to the children in all they do. They will have excellent communication skills and will work closely with the Head Teacher/SENCO, external professionals, and the nursery team. The key purpose of the role is to ensure individualised education for children with special educational needs and to work closely with families to achieve the best outcomes for the children.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced early years colleagues and those with experience working with children with additional needs. Ideally, the successful candidate will have been trained in SEN-specific techniques such as TEACCH and the use of visual communication aids. However, the school will facilitate the right candidate undertaking any necessary training.
