SEN Learning Support Assistant – Immediate Start
Location: London Borough of Bromley
School Type: Specialist SEN School
Salary: £85 – £100 per day depending on experience (PAYE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Bromley. In this role, you’ll support students with diverse needs, including PMLD, SLD, ASD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, and some wheelchair users.
Your Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of learning needs.
Assist with personal care and mobility needs, including helping wheelchair users.
Use positive strategies to manage challenging behaviours.
Work closely with teachers and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Help create a safe and engaging learning environment.

Experience working with SEN children or young people is essential.
A caring, patient, and flexible approach.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Willingness to assist with personal care and physical support if needed.
