Lead Senior Support Worker
Location: Leeds
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £13.00 per hour
About the Role
P4 Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead Senior Support Worker to join one of our clients supported living services in Leeds. This role is central to providing exceptional care and support to individuals, empowering them to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
You will utilise a digital app called Nourish to manage care and support plans. While experience with digital or mobile applications is advantageous, full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as a vital link between support staff and management, ensuring effective communication and seamless service delivery.
* Oversee the daily operations of the service, ensuring efficiency and high standards.
* Provide one-to-one support to individuals with complex needs, prioritising their emotional and physical well-being.
* Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering their professional growth and confidence.
* Address and resolve challenges during shifts, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
* Promote person-centred care, supporting individuals to engage in activities they enjoy.
* Accompany individuals on community outings, encouraging social inclusion and interaction.
Essential Criteria
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is required
* Proven experience in a senior support role.
* A valid driving licence.
* Familiarity with digital tools however training will be provided.
