Job Title: Teaching Assistant – SEN

Location:

Salford, M30

Job Type:

Temporary to Permanent

Monday to Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm)

Salary:

£87 – £100 per day

Job Duties:

Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
Assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans for students with SEN
Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment
Helping students with personal care needs, if required

Required Qualifications:

Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
Good understanding of SEN strategies and techniques

Experience:

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a similar setting

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection

Working Conditions:

This role involves working within a school environment, supporting students with SEN. The Teaching Assistant may need to assist with personal care and be prepared to handle challenging behaviour. The work is full-time and temporary in nature, based in Salford, Greater Manchester
