The role – SEN Teaching Assistant
I am working with a PRU based in Lewisham that is looking for a new SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. For this SEN Teaching Assistant role you will be working in and out of the class with KS3 & KS4 students and will need to build strong rapport with them. You must have strong behaviour management skills and will be working 1:1 with the students. In this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will be working closely with the class teacher and will need to support them in classroom management, the role is long – term and full time and you will be looking after the students physical, social and emotional welfare to enable the best progress as possible.

The school is based in Lewisham and caters for students aged 11 – 16. They are committed to giving their students every opportunity to excel academically, to build positive relationships with their peers and adults, and to make positive contributions as independent and confident learners. The students will be equipped with the life skills required to make a positive impact in society.
