Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner – Sheffield – 6 Months
An excellent opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant to join a dynamic team at in Sheffield. This brand new full-time role reports to the Financial Controller and plays a key role in supporting business performance through effective financial management. The role is likely to be extended or become permanent as this ambitious company continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering: Build relationships with key stakeholders to develop a concise reporting framework for senior management.

Capital Projects:
- Oversee the capital approval process and improve capital appraisal models.
- Assist with investment appraisals and documentation for capital meetings.
- Track and report project performance and variances.
- Budget and forecast for internal projects.

Expense Analysis:
- Partner with overhead departments on month-end processes, reviews, and cost allocation.
- Track and report overhead performance against the budget.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Subsidiary Management:
- Produce trial balances, reconciliations, and management reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure robust financial understanding.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for responsible areas.

Additional Duties:
- Coordinate with external auditors and support team members as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (AAT, CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience.
- Experience in Finance Project Management, FP&A, or Finance Business Partnering.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and Excel skills.
- Available at short notice and able to commit to a minimum of 6 months
