We’re looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Seahouses, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day.
Salary:£11.50 an hour
Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 2nd November 2025
Hours: 756 hours across the contract. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the contract.
Approximately 21 hours per week and working hours and days will vary according to the needs of the business.
Interview date: Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th February

What you’ll be doing
As a member of the retail team, you’ll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping. You’ll have high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers.
You’ll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust. Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised.
