TECHNICAL CO-ORDINATOR

MONDAY – FRIDAY: 08.30 – 16.30

£25,000 – £27,000 PER ANNUM DOE

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Technical Co-ordinator to join our well-established client based in Wolverhampton, WEST MIDLANDS on a full-time permanent basis.

Day to Day Duties

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to ensure technical specifications meet project requirements
  • Manage project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and compliance reports
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and ensure timely delivery
  • Assist in developing project schedules, tracking progress, and reporting updates to stakeholders
  • Provide technical support to sales teams, addressing client queries and offering tailored solutions
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate project implementation, resolving any technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for internal teams on product specifications and installation processes
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to partitioning solutions

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience in a technical coordination role within the construction or partitioning industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of AutoCAD and technical drawings, specifications, and construction processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CAD software is advantageous
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to site locations as needed

Desirable Experience

  • Familiarity with project management software
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry
  • Experience in customer service or technical sales support
