Economy Freight Services Ltd is a privately owned Freight Forwarder, established in 1973, operating within Leeds but supporting businesses throughout the UK.

EXPERIENCE IN FREIGHT FORWARDING IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION

An opportunity has arisen within our Company to join our Operations Department.

We are looking for an Experienced Operations Co-Ordinator, to work within our Export/Import Department. We work closely with our customers and there is an expectation for the successful candidate to build a solid working relationship with all our customers.

This position is varied and there are opportunities for you to use your shipping experiences and skills. The key objectives are to undertake all aspects relating to the day to day operations of the Export and Import Department including (but not exclusive to), calculating freight quotations, building up jobs, including customs entries, liaising with suppliers and customers, completing the appropriate documentation for shipments, invoicing and any other duties commensurate with the position.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and IT skills. Experience in this field is essential and you will ideally have worked within a team environment, whilst also being able to manage your workload. You will report to the Operations Director.

The hours of work are Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £27,000.00 per year
