Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Full-Time – FE College – Bexley Area

Are you passionate about supporting students in further education? Do you have the skills and dedication to help young people with diverse needs thrive in a college environment?

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a Further Education (FE) college in the Bexley area, providing support to students with a range of needs, including Autism (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, behavioural needs, wheelchair users, and Down Syndrome.

Role Details:

Location: Bexley area
Days: Monday to Friday (Please only apply if you can work 5 days)
Hours: Full-time (exact hours TBC)
Pay: £85 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

Supporting students with diverse learning needs in the classroom and around the college
Assisting with mobility, personal care, and communication where necessary
Helping students develop independence, confidence, and engagement in their studies
Working closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience supporting students with SEN, particularly ASD, SEMH, and physical disabilities
A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
A passion for helping young people achieve their potential in an FE setting
