SEN Teaching Assistant – SEMH/Pru School – Westminster, London – £500 – £550 per week
Teaching Personnel is supporting a fantastic SEN School in Westminster that need learning support assistants starting after the February half term.
You will join a team of specialist staff supporting learners with SEMH and neurological disorders.
This role is perfect for anyone interested in SEN.

You will need:
To be motivated to make a positive difference to the students.
Care deeply about students’ well-being and personal development.
An interest in SEN.
Good communication skills and set high expectations.
Ability to relate well to pupils and adults.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and work as part of a team.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1:1 and small group pupil support under the direct supervision of teaching staff
Supporting independent learning and providing feedback to the teacher.
Promote positive values, attitudes, and good pupil behaviour.
Supporting the teacher with managing behaviour and keep pupils on task.
Assisting in the planning and learning activities
Promote and reinforce the inclusion, acceptance and integration of all pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
