Teaching Assistant Vacancy – School close to Bognor Regis
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team, located near Bognor Regis. As a key member of our school community, you will help provide high-quality support to both students and staff, ensuring all children reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support classroom teachers with the delivery of lessons and learning activities
Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with varying needs
Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources
Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback to teachers
Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment
Support students with personal care needs when required
Help with the general supervision of children during breaks and lunchtime
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate approach
Enthusiasm for helping children learn and grow
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
A proactive and flexible attitude towards tasks and challenges
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Qualifications:
A minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Teaching Assistant qualification (or working towards one) is desirable but not essential
