SANZA Teaching Agency are currently working with a delightful, 2-form entry primary school in Ealing who are seeking a year 1 teaching assistant.
The school is located in Acton, with great transport links (District Line and Overground).
THE ROLE:
Year 1 teaching assistant, you will:
Provide support to the class teacher
Provide individualised support in class to each student
Support any students in the class that have additional needs
Encourage and facilitate participation in classroom activities, promote social interaction, and support learning and development
Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson materials and ensure they are accessible for the student
Assist with behaviour management
ABOUT YOU:
Must have experience as a year 1 teaching assistant or in another year group
Will have a genuine passion for supporting teaching and learning
Be patient and understanding
Be flexible
Have great communication, interpersonal skills and ability to build great relationships
