Langley has a fantastic opportunity for an organised, creative, and client focussed Care Team Leader with good communication and interpersonal skills to join our busy and friendly team in London. This is a great opportunity to really make a positive impact, supported by a fantastic onsite care team and corporate teams across the Trust. Please note that this service is a joint venture with Oxleas NHS and will provide support at our only female forensic hostel.

This role is a permanent Part time role working 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will receive a salary of £14,991 per annum (FTE £23,982) plus Pro Rata London weighting of £1,712.70.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting the on-site management team in supervising all care staff and monitoring the care given to our clients.Spend time with clients and monitor service standards
  • Conduct regular key working sessions with allocated clients and enable them to participate fully in the life of the service, including clients meetings.Helping clients achieve the aims of their support plan.
  • To maintain a clear and calm manner whilst managing client risk through assessment, planning, client knowledge and de-escalation as required
  • Helping induct, train, and supervise colleagues and junior members of staff in all aspects of their work in the Home.
  • Writing, updating, and maintaining clients’ Care Plans
  • Completion of documentation, referrals and returns where necessary
  • Liaising with necessary internal / external stakeholders, specialist and agencies keeping them up to date with progress of applications / referrals.
