Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience required for this position is experience in a similar position or 5 days in sole charge of a group of children in the last 5 years.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering pre-planned lessons across various subjects
Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
Supporting students in their learning and maintaining engagement
Adapting to different school settings with confidence and professionalism

Requirements

The successful Cover Supervisor will have;

Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or working in a school)
Strong classroom management skills
A passion for education and supporting students
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
