Full-Time Learning Support Assistant
Location: Blackheath (SE13)
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: Until the end of the academic year – Kuly 2025
We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable full-time Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive team at a college in Blackheath (SE13). The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students in their learning, providing assistance in both group and one-on-one settings, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to students with a variety of learning needs, both in-class and during group activities.
Assist with lesson delivery and offer tailored support to students requiring additional help.
Help to create and implement individual learning plans for students.
Support students with personal care where necessary and encourage independence.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure students’ needs are met.Requirements:
A current, valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required for this position.
Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
