Welsh Language Teaching Assistant – Cardiff
Location: South Wales (Cardiff or surrounding areas)
Salary: £87.90 Per Day

Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to work in Welsh-medium primary schools across South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in their education while promoting the Welsh language and culture.
The Role:
Supporting students in their Welsh-medium education
Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons in Welsh
Providing one-to-one and small group support as required
Encouraging pupils’ confidence in speaking, reading, and writing in Welsh
Creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environmentRequirements:
✅ Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
✅ Experience working with children in a school or similar setting (desirable but not essential)
✅ A passion for education and supporting young learners
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
