About the School:

This wonderful and welcoming school in Romford is home to a dedicated Additional Resource Provision (ARP) class that supports students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a range of other SEN needs. With small class sizes, a high staff-to-student ratio, and a supportive SEN team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact in a setting designed to help every child flourish.

The Role – Make a Difference as an SEN TA Every Day!

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working closely with students of different ages, some of whom are non-verbal. Experience with non-verbal communication techniques (PECS, Makaton, or alternative communication methods) is preferred but not essential. You’ll work alongside experienced SEN professionals who are committed to providing high-quality support, ensuring that every child receives the tailored education they deserve.

What We’re Looking For: SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Experience with non-verbal students is highly desirable

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in a relevant field (preferred)

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive attitude

• A commitment to inclusive education and supporting students with diverse learning needs
