A dynamic and customer-focused business within the Construction & Manufacturing industry are seeking a Product Sales Advisor to join the team.
As a Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through various communication channels, including phone, email, and web-site. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a passion for customer service and sales to grow and develop in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing: Handle and process customer orders and inquiries promptly via phone, email and website
Product Gap Sales: Proactively engage with existing customers to encourage purchases of products they have not previously bought from us.
Customer Support: Provide basic support and assistance to customers, following product training.
Delivery Coordination: Liaise with couriers to provide accurate estimated delivery times to customers.
Web Order Downloading: Process web orders when allocated, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
Collaboration: Work closely with Warehouse and Couriers teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.
Callouts: Occasionally contact customers to follow up on quotations and check if they are proceeding to order.
Main Duties:
Answer phones promptly and professionally, maintaining a courteous and helpful tone.
Ensure web orders are downloaded and processed efficiently when assigned.
Process orders via email or phone in a timely and accurate manner.
Coordinate with couriers to keep customers updated on delivery times.
Communicate with the Warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
Callouts: Occasionally reach out to customers to follow up on quotes and convert them into orders.
Training and Development:
Full product training will be provided to equip you with the knowledge to assist customers effectively.
Training on our Sage 200 system will also be provided.
Required Skills and Experience:
Previous experience with Sage 200 is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook is essential.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
