Shift: 06:30-Finish, Thursday-Saturday and alternate Wednesdays.
Job Advertisement: Quality Assurance (QA) Operative
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Operative to join our team! This role is crucial in ensuring the quality of raw materials entering the business and maintaining strong communication with key departments, including Production, Procurement, and Technical Management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Weigh and book in all incoming loads using SI.
* Verify that all growers are approved for intended customers and possess relevant documentation.
* Assess the quality of incoming products against customer specifications, conduct Woodstar/Harvest Manager tests, and provide feedback to relevant teams.
* Conduct shelf-life sampling and assessments, documenting results accordingly.
* Ensure timely submission of paperwork to the appropriate contacts.
* Follow Health & Safety policies, reporting any incidents or near misses through the correct channels.
* Support additional QA tasks as needed based on business requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in a QA, inspection, or similar role (preferred but not essential).
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
* Good communication skills to liaise with multiple departments.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* Basic IT skills for data entry and documentation.
