Bookkeeper – Part Time (25-30 hours per week)

Our client in St Ives is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join them on a permanent, part-time basis of 25-30 hours per week (you can work which days suit you and the business). The company is a sociable, inviting place which prides itself on excellent service, and in this role you will manage a portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
Managing the bookkeeping needs of a portfolio of clients
Posting/processing of sales and purchase invoices
Bank reconciliations
VAT returns
Answering ad hoc client queries – dealing with clients via email, phone, face-to-face
Working closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate reporting
To be suitable for the role, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Bookkeeping knowledge
Experience using Xero & Sage bookkeeping platforms – SAGE not essential as training will be given
Experience managing a portfolio of clients is preferable
