Highly experienced in design, supply, and installation of renewable energy technology, having supplied, approaching a thousand boilers nationwide to date. We are looking to expand our Design department with the appointment of a graduate Mechanical Design Engineer. Key Roles and Responsibilities:Assist in planning, designing, and implementing engineering projectsPerform engineering calculations using relevant softwareAttend site visits to conduct quality inspections and produce as-installed schematicsProvide technical support to the Technical ManagerCollaborate with the Project Management team on procurement and technical queriesSupport the Sales team in creating concept drawings for proposalsCreate detailed CAD drawings for system designsPrepare and generate bills of materials for projectsProduce project quotes through internal systemsEnsure compliance with Health & Safety procedures during the design phaseContribute to research and development effortsSource new products and technologies to enhance project solutionsAssist with Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) administrative tasks and documentation
________________________________________Essential Core Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D)Solid understanding of building services and engineering fundamentalsQualified to at least HND or degree level in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with commercial awarenessStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectivelyExcellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interact at all levels within the company and with external clientsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Good level of written and spoken English
