The Role – Year 2 Teaching Assistant
As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering lessons and ensuring that students achieve their full potential. You will work closely with students with Special Educational Needs, supporting them in the classroom to access the curriculum and succeed in their learning. You will also help manage classroom behavior and support social and emotional development, ensuring that students feel included and confident. Additionally, you will work closely with teachers to implement strategies from each student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) and monitor their progress.
