Supply Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Pay: £85 – £100 per day

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Primary School Teaching Assistants seeking full-time, part-time, or flexible work for the remainder of the academic year. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will have the chance to work across a variety of Early Years, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) settings. This role is ideal for those looking to gain experience in different schools, develop their skills, and make a real impact on children’s education.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an adaptable, patient, and enthusiastic individual who can support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons. You will need to:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who need extra help
Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
Work closely with teachers and school staff to support children’s development
Key Requirements
Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting (preferred but not essential)
A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting young learners
An Enhanced DBS Check (Child Workforce) on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential)
