Person Specification:
NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
Experience of working with babies and toddlers
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)
Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role
Some of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will Include:
Effectively working as part of a team
Key worker responsibilities and ensure children’s development records are maintained
To comply with all nursery policy and procedures
To work with EYFS curriculum planning age appropriate activities
Building positive relationships with parents
Maintaining nursery documentation, risk assessments, medication, accident, incident forms
To ensure safe stimulating environment for children
To attend monthly staff meetings and further training as required
