WORKING DAYS: SUNDAY TO THURSDAY

START TIME: 8AM

£12.50 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Darnley, Glasgow.

This role involves home deliveries of furniture and building materials, requiring candidates who are punctual, professional, and physically fit for manual handling tasks.

Day-to-Day Duties

Your duties as a 7.5 Tonne Driver will include but are not limited to:

• Delivering furniture and building materials to residential addresses
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
• Adhering to traffic laws and health & safety guidelines
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

To be successful as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:

• A valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence
• A valid UK CPC Card and Digi Card
• Held your licence for a minimum of two years
• A maximum of six points on your licence (No DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Excellent timekeeping and communication skills

Training

• On-the-job training with an experienced driver will be provided
