Stock Controller – £20,000 – £25,000 per annum + Benefits
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Stock Controller to join our clients Warehouse team in a busy engineering business based in Bradford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing orders from stock
- Checking incoming deliveries against supplier delivery notes
- Packing outgoing orders with reference to delivery notes
- Liaising with couriers and coordinating transport bookings
- Producing logistical documentation such as commercial invoices and delivery/collection notes
- Locating stock items to their correct locations
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Working efficiently as part of a team and assisting in other business areas as needed
- Ensuring high standards for Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental Standards
- Communicating effectively with staff and management
- Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in approach to work
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
- Ability to drive
- Experience with a counterbalance forklift is desirable
- Numerate and literate with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong team player
