Payroll Assistant – Callington, Cornwall – Temporary to Permanent
Salary: Up to £27,625 per annum (Hourly Rate Equivalent)
⏳ Hours: Full-time (3-4 days payroll, 1-2 days finance projects)
Location: Callington, Cornwall

We’re on the lookout for a Payroll Assistant to join a proactive and friendly team within a leading business. You’ll be working in a busy and varied role, handling payroll processing while also getting involved in finance-based projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✔ Processing timesheets and payroll data accurately and efficiently.
✔ Managing payroll queries, ensuring prompt resolution.
✔ Collaborating on finance projects, working closely with the Finance Director.
✔ Supporting the wider finance team with additional tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

Payroll experience with an understanding of payroll processes.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good communication skills – you’ll be liaising with internal teams.
IT proficiency, particularly with payroll and finance systems.
