7.5T Driver

Driver Hire Southampton is currently seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5T Driver to join our client in delivering plant machinery to and from customer sites throughout Hampshire and the South Coast.

About the Role:

• Position Type: 12-week temp-to-perm
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Transporting plant machinery to and from customer locations
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring machinery is securely strapped and chained for safe transit
  • Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining a high standard of vehicle upkeep

What We’re Looking For:

• Full UK 7.5T driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Previous experience with loading, unloading, and securing plant machinery
• Strong skills in strapping and chaining equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• A strong focus on vehicle maintenance and safety
