Learning & Behaviour Mentor
Introduction
Qualiteach Yorkshire are supporting a leading alternative provision based in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Learning & Behaviour Mentor to join them immediately.
This is a full-time role and will become a permanent assignment.
Job Title Responsibilities
* Support learners from KS2 – KS4 with a range of needs including those with SEMH needs, Complex Learning Difficulties and Autism
* Work with students in a 1:1 basis
* Create a safe and positive learning environment
* Manage behaviour through a variety of strategies
Job Title Requirements
* Experience working with young people who have SEN
* Excellent behaviour management
* Ability to build rapport with learners who are disengaged with education
* Full time availability
