Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Hours: 37.5 hours Per Week – Working Early, Late shifts and weekends.

Salary: £27,591.97 Per Annum

Join our client in the heart of Cambridge as a Front of House Assistant! Working on behalf of one of the most prestigious colleges in Cambridge, you will deliver a highly efficient and excellent quality service in respect of service of food and beverages at all College internal and external functions.

Job Duties:

* Responsible for the service of food and beverages at College Feasts, Reunion Dinners, special Fellows’ Dinners, conferences, private catering events, and daily catering operations.

* Support the service of VIP functions held in the Master’s Lodge.

* Assist in setting up public rooms for functions and College events, ensuring a consistently high standard.

* Maintain excellent hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness in compliance with the Food Safety Act.

* Ensure the Pantry and related food service areas are always kept impeccably clean.

* Take responsibility for the College Plate when necessary.

* Follow the personal hygiene standards set by the Hospitality Director.

What we are looking for:

Good organisational skills

* Reliable and enthusiastic with prior experience in a customer facing role with a ‘can do’ attitude

* Ability to work well under pressure.

* Able to work as part of a team but also work alone using your own initiative

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Customer service skills
