Semi Skilled Labourer

We are looking for a semi-skilled labourer to join our team at Thompson Quarries.

Full time position at our quarry in Dumbarton.

Tasks:

Main Tasks include –

• assisting quarry & washplant operatives in maintaining machinery and equipment
• assembling and dismantling equipment
• removing waste and serviceable materials and equipment from work areas after extraction and screening activities have been completed
• cleaning machinery, equipment, tools, roadways and haul roads
• sorting, loading, unloading, stacking and storing tools, materials and supplies used by other workers.

It is essential that the successful candidate is:

Prepared to progress and develop within our business through training and gaining qualifications.

Willing to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Willing to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business and has a flexible approach to working hours.

In possession of a full driving license

Previous experience with tools, small plant and tractor operation required.
