We are looking for a reliable and responsible Van Driver to join our team and ensure timely deliveries with Outstanding Customer service.Job Role:Your key responsibilities as a Van Driver, which are not exhaustive and not limited to include:

  • Safely transport goods to customers across designated routes around Leicester and occasionally outside of the East Midlands
  • Load and unload deliveries, to and from the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and care with all items
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
  • Maintain delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
  • Assist in the warehouse when required, including stock handling and organising deliveries.
  • The van will be provided to get to work and back and only available for business use away from the office.

Requirements

  • Valid UK driving license (with minimal or no points).
  • Previous experience in a driving or delivery role preferred, but not essential.
  • Driver needs to be flexible in terms of later deliveries, but this is not very often.
  • Good knowledge of Leicester and surrounding areas.
