Trainee Recruitment Consultant We are hiring for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant for our offices based in Belfast City Centre. The successful candidate will have an interest in kick starting their career in recruitment and managing a client base within NI. The successful applicant will have previous customer service and/ or sales experience wherein they want to start their career in recruitment. The successful applicant will be required to engage in building existing & new business relationships as well as being sales driven to meet monthly targets & KPI’s. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for attracting candidates for job opportunities and matching them to temporary, contract and permanent positions with our clients. At first, you will be focused on speaking to candidates, building relationships, and growing your specialist network. Further into training, you will learn to develop relationships with key decision makers to ensure placements are made and targets are met. Main duties and responsibilities Exceed expectations by ensuring an exceptional customer experience Advertise job vacancies across multiple channels, including job boards, email marketing and social media Generate candidates through CV searching, social media, job adverts and referrals Conduct initial telephone screening and arrange interviews Proactively source candidates via job boards and in-house database Liaise with consultants to ensure you have all the information needed to recruit successfully Initiate, manage and develop candidate relationships Update and maintain company database Understand and meet agreed KPI’s Advertising job vacancies across multiple channels, including job boards, email marketing and social media Working to deadlines to ensure all vacancies are filled and clients are happy Obtaining references and ensuring right to work prior to placements starting Liaising with clients and candidates to arrange interviews and start dates Maintaining and updating the company database Building relationships with candidates via telephone, email, and face to face meetings Ensuring candidates are provided with all information prior to interviews / start dates Conducting face to face and telephone / video registration interviews Develop relationships with key decision makers within the customer base Ensuring all administrative tasks are complete and your candidate base is fully compliant Essential Criteria Self-motivated, resilient, relationship builder who is keen to build a client base Minimum of 2 years in a customer service/ sales based role Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly Excellent Verbal and written communication skills A passion for providing excellent customer service Dependability and a strong work ethic Driven and determined to achieve targets and KPI’s Ability to work under own initiative & solve problems quickly Well-developed administration skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes Ability to prioritise a challenging workload Salary and Benefits £24,380 starting salary per annum plus uncapped commission paid monthly 30 to 35 days holiday per annum including stats Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm early finish on Fridays 4.30pm 37 hour working week with 1 hour for lunch and a 15-minute morning break Ongoing Training and Development Pension Contributions Team Lunches, Christmas Party fully paid, fund raising activities Staff kitchen with Air fryer, Fridge, Electric Hob, Microwave, Coffee Machine, Kettle, Toaster Etc.
