In this role, youll inspire visitors to support nature conservation. As Visitor Experience Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering our visitor experience, including: Engaging with the local community Partnership working Volunteer recruitment and management Collaborating with our communications team to deliver promotional activities, particularly social media content Youll work closely with the Site Manager to ensure a cohesive visitor experience while aligning with HQ strategy for reserves delivery. Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience: Educated to at least HND level or equivalent Ability to plan and prioritise workloads A natural leader who can motivate and inspire people Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on your own initiative Ability to engage with the local community and respond to customer needs and feedback A sound understanding of the procedures necessary to run a visitor operation Proven track record of managing a visitor project or attraction Experience in analysing and interpreting data in a visitor experience environment Experience in planning and delivering a high-quality visitor offer Successful experience in managing a team of staff and/or volunteers Desirable Skills, Knowledge & Experience: Tourism/leisure-related qualification Working knowledge of Equal Opportunities & Diversity Understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace Closing date: 23:59, Monday, 31st March 2025 Interview Date: On or around the 10th of April 2025 Application Process This role requires completion of an Access NI check in addition to standard pre-employment checks.
