We are on the lookout for a passionate and creative Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Barluga, located on the beautiful Grey Street in Newcastle.

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, be excited about working with fresh, local produce and be keen to become a key support to the Head Chef and team.

Roles and responsibilities for the role:

– Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section

– Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes

– Preparing a range of dishes using fresh produce

– Assisting with the management of health and safety

– Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices

– Monitoring portion and waste control

– Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
