About the Role
As a Multi-Drop Class 2 Driver for Blue Arrow, you’ll be an essential part of our team, delivering products safely, on time, and in full to customers. With the assistance of a Driver’s Mate, you’ll provide friendly, efficient service while ensuring every delivery meets our high standards.
This is a full-time, permanent role which will involve a week’s induction.
Shifts: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work during peak periods (e.g., Christmas, Summer and major sporting events).
Pay Rate: £16.57
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle inspections.
- Secure and package customer orders for delivery.
- Coordinate with your Driver’s Mate on daily schedules and orders.
- Notify customers of any delays or issues.
- Assist in unloading orders and collecting returns such as empty kegs and pallets.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures.
- Complete EPOD (Electronic Proof of Delivery) and other administrative tasks.
- Communicate with Transport Management about any vehicle issues or delays.
- Ensure compliance with Tachograph legislation.
Requirements:
- 1 years driving experience (class 2)
- No points on license
- Over 25 years of age
- Ability to carry out heavy manual handling
