Responsibilities & Tasks ·
* Supporting the design team in gathering finishes for design schemes – this will include proposing finishes with the team (this will include collecting finishes from showrooms to help the team ·
* Help update the samples/ finishes library and keep the library current with new finishes and new suppliers so we are current in the marketplace ·
* Coordinating showroom visits with suppliers and maintaining the teams calender to make sure we don’t do too many or not enough. ·
* Maintaining the office with supplies such as stationary/ teapoint supplies.
* Advancing styling ability with the team learning programma and learning in being a styling guru for clients (accessories/ artwork etc) ·
* Help researching design projects for presentations. Such as furniture/ interior schemes for our presentations ·
* Learning to do presentation documents for our clients under Graphic designer (Joao’s) guide, until such time you’re able to do presentations alone.
* Working on social media for the business – linkedin and social media this will be developed with the team ·
* Assisting Maz on business administration works – data entry on business development works Maz is doing. ·
* Help organising events and parties and festivals that the team should be going to ·
* Make sure that design literature is up to date e.g. new magazines and discussing with team any new great things that would advance the team. ·
* Recording details of clients and contractors and maintaining up to date records · Learning to do mood boards and photoshop for styling works as and when required · Working closely with Gert and Maz on company development.
* Future growth – Once established with the team we would look in teaching software of interest such as 3D modelling/ advancing design principles
