We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various shop operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This position requires a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Duties include but aren’t limited to the following…

  • Working with chemicals, stripping items and applying bond inserts, you will be supplied safety facemasks when required for particular jobs.
  • Fabricate components as per specifications, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
  • Perform spraying and finishing tasks to meet aesthetic standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Skills

  • Experience in a spray room.
  • Ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with spraying techniques for product finishing.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
  • Must be able to commit to manual handling, such as heavy lifting, crouching, kneeling & standing for long periods.
  • Must have food finger dexterity.

Days, hours & pay…

  • Monday to Friday
  • 07:00 – 16:30 (Mon- Thurs) 07:00 – 12:00 pm (Fri)
  • 40 hours per week
  • £12.21 + Hol = £13.69 per hour
  • Temp to perm placement – The company will look to offer you a perm contract after 12 weeks of temping, subject to performance.
