They’re looking for anenthusiastic and motivated Network Engineering Apprenticeto join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking tokickstart their career in IT and networking, gain hands-on experience, and develop technical skills while supportingboth internal teams and clients.
A Typical Day in the Job:
?Hands-On Learning:Gain expertise inSharePoint, Power BI, PowerShell, and PowerAppsto develop IT solutions.
?Technical Support:Assist in troubleshooting,setting up, and maintaining IT and network equipment(PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and networking hardware).
?Client-Site Support:Travel to client sites acrossSheffieldtoinstall, upgrade, and maintain IT and network systems.
?Automation & System Improvement:Help automate tasks and improve internal processes usingPowerShell.
?Customer Service & Relationship Building:Work closely with clients, providing excellent service and support.
?Onboarding & Training Support:Assist in onboardingnew employeesand provide basic IT training.
Salary, Hours&Benefits:

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
Full UK Driving License -Required for on-site visits.
Enthusiastic and eager to learn no prior experience required, just a passion for IT and networking!
Problem-solving mindset enjoys troubleshooting and finding solutions.
Customer-focused excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel comfortable driving to client sites.
Team playerwho can also work independently when needed.
Grade Required- Maths 4/C, English 4/C
Your Training with Baltic:
You will be enrolled in a Level 4 Network Engineering Apprenticeship, providing you with formal qualifications and practical skills. You’ll also have access to one-to-one mentoring sessions with senior team members and on-the-job training that aligns with your career goals.
Beyond the fundamental apprenticeship modules, you’ll delve into two Be-Spoke modules and one advanced Expert module. This personalised approach will hone your abilities and deepen your expertise, positioning you as a true leader in your field. The Be-Spoke and Expert modules you will complete are:
Expert: CompTIA Network +
Bespoke: Work Safety Requirements and Project Management
