CK Group are recruiting for a Technical Sales Graduate, to join a Hazardous Waste Management company, on a full time, permanent basis. The salary for this role is £25,000 per annum.
Location:
This role will be based at the company’s site near Cannock which is commutable from Walsall, Aldridge, Lichfield, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Burntwood.
Technical Sales Graduate:
Your main duties will be:
- Assist in reviewing and assessing waste streams, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), WM3 classifications, and pre-acceptance documentation.
- Support the pre-acceptance and waste approval process, ensuring compliance with Environmental Agency regulations, ADR, and COSHH.
- Work with the Technical Assessors and laboratory teams to arrange sampling and analysis for waste verification.
- Gain a working knowledge of site permits, waste acceptance criteria (WAC), and disposal/treatment options.
- Assist in reviewing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), supporting investigations and corrective actions.
- Work with the commercial team to provide technical input on waste streams and disposal options.
- Ensure customer queries related to waste approvals and compliance are handled effectively.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- Science A levels, science degree or equivalent.
- Interest in waste classification, hazardous materials, and environmental compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail when reviewing technical documents and regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with internal teams and external customers.
