A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Responding to and managing IT support requests via the internal ticketing system.
  • Assisting with user account management, including password resets and access permissions.
  • Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software.
  • Supporting network devices and resolving network connectivity issues.
  • Providing high-quality technical support to clients across a range of industries.
  • Gaining exposure to real-world business IT infrastructures and projects.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • A real passion for IT and systems, with a desire to build a long-term career.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a professional attitude.
  • Clear, confident communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A commitment to continual learning and self-improvement.
  • A Grade 5/C in GCSE English and a Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths is required for this role.
  • A full clean driving licence would be advantageous.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

  • £15,000 per annum.
  • Monday to Thursday, 9:00am 5:30pm; Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm.
  • 20 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships

This Level 3 apprenticeship will help you build strong foundations for a successful career in IT. Youll gain skills in IT support, user account management, system troubleshooting, and networking alongside a nationally recognised qualification.

Training is delivered through live virtual sessions, self-paced modules, and one-on-one support from experienced trainers.
