The Role:
The school is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join the team from September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with SEN in both classroom-based and practical learning activities, helping them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils’ learning and engagement under the direction of teaching staff and therapists
Adapt classroom activities to meet a variety of learning styles and needs
Help promote independence, communication, and confidence in students
Assist with behaviour management, transitions, and emotional regulation
Provide personal care where required
Contribute to planning, observations, and reporting as part of a teamPerson Specification:
Previous experience with children or young people, ideally in an SEN or education setting
Kind, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to different support needs
Ability to assist with personal care and behaviour support
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)What the School Offers:
