Head Hunted Recruitment are working with a well-known and long established construction company based in Kings Lynn, Norfolk who are looking to add an experienced Project Coordinator to their growing team of professionals. This new Project Coordinator position has come about due to securing new business opportunities in and around Norfolk/Suffolk.

The successful Project Coordinator will ideally have experience working within a construction setting or similar. You will need to be self-motivated, have great attention to detail and have excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with internal/external departments and customers.

Project Coordinator General Responsibilities –

* Review projects that are assigned to you daily with line manager

* Manage daily incoming emails and move into actioned folder when complete. To monitor additional email accounts and cover for absences

* Greet incoming visitors and set up welcome page on reception TV, to answer and transfer incoming phone calls

* Assist the other members of the contracting team with various tasks as requested.

* To carry out pricing updates on supplier PO’s

* Use the daily catch-up to report on progress/raise any concerns/ask for advice

* Attend the weekly contracts meetings and monthly catch-up meetings and report on KPi’s then set personal development goals and review progress

* Qualify new enquiries/opportunities from telephone leads and set up new opportunities

Project Coordinator Role Specifics –

* Send Introduction email to clients after an order has been placed as requested and complete the project set up process and move the Opportunity folder to the Project folder

* Inform the client of key information including start date etc as requested by PM

* Prepare and send purchase orders based on the costing/estimates/SQs and the order by date and ensure all PO confirmations are correct including materials, delivery address, date

* Ensure that all materials, plant, skips, labour are confirmed for start of the project and that all hire equipment is logged on the hire register

* To ensure any extras/variations are approved by the client in writing and updated

* Record any issues on Learning Opportunities register and report back to contracts manager or management team

* Assist the project team with logging costs in the PO registers for current projects.

Project Coordinator KPI’s –

* Ensure the organisation and contact is added to the system with the relevant tags for every project

* To ensure all project set up tasks for new projects are complete within 24 hours (sample 3 per month)

* To ensure the introduction email is sent to the client within 48 hours of the order being placed

* To stay within the budget on every project i.e., actual cost < budgeted cost

* To ensure the hire equipment register is always correct and the off-hire reference number is recorded

This is an office based position and comes with an excellent salary of £27K – £28K per annum DOE.
