General Teaching Assistant (Secondary)

As a General Teaching Assistant, you’ll support students across various year groups and subjects, assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and ensuring pupils receive the support they need to thrive. You’ll also have opportunities to work with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support class teachers in delivering lessons across subjects
• Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
• Help set up and tidy classroom materials and resources
• Provide additional support to students with SEN or EAL
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (preferred but not essential)
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow in a school environment
