About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with ASD, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to meet the unique needs of each student.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
• Using effective communication strategies to build trust and engagement.
• Supporting children in managing their behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Encouraging independence and fostering a love of learning.
