Description

Part-Time Admin Assistant

We’re working with a well-established and respected organisation in Warwick to recruit a confident and capable Administration Assistant to support both operational and leadership functions. This is a varied, people-facing role where you’ll play a key part in making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes—and occasionally front of house too. This is a wonderful opportunity to support a purpose-driven organisation that plays a vital role in the local community. You’ll be joining a warm, collaborative team where no two days are the same.

This is a permanent position, offering 20 hours per week across five days (Mon–Fri), with a pay rate of £14 per hour.

Responsibilities of Admin Assistant

This is a dual-support role, with 15 hours per week focused on assisting the Operations/Facilities Manager, and 5 hours dedicated to supporting a senior leader (Rector equivalent). Responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for public enquiries, particularly for events such as weddings, funerals, and baptisms

  • Liaising with internal teams such as musicians, coordinators, and administrators to ensure events run smoothly

  • Diary management and regular catch-ups with senior staff to coordinate schedules

  • Preparing service-related documents such as newsletters, event sheets, and rotas

  • Handling office supplies, managing communications (emails and phone), and ensuring everything is well organised

  • Assisting with invoicing and gathering information for post-event reporting

Requirement of Admin Assistant

  • Someone who’s confident working independently and can juggle a variety of tasks

  • Strong communication skills—you’ll be dealing with the public and coordinating across teams

  • A proactive and organised approach with excellent time management

  • Good IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel

  • An understanding of GDPR, Safeguarding, and Health & Safety would be an advantage

  • A positive and flexible mindset, especially in a role that supports a values-led environment
