Day to Day Duties
The day to day duties of a Purchase Ledger Clerk with our client will be:
- Manage financial aspects related to purchase transactions, including invoice processing, payment authorisation, and record keeping.
- Monitor and resolve all purchase ledger queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring supplier accounts are reconciled.
- Support month-end processes such as accruals and prepayments.
- Work closely with the wider accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Perform credit checks on potential suppliers and maintain existing supplier relationships.
Essential Skills
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you must have:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- A high level of proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Purchase Ledger Experience is required.
What training is provided?
- Full Training on internal systems and procedures will be provided to all successful candidates and ongoing support throughout.
