A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking a dedicated and patient 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil with Autism, starting in September. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent, individualised support that promotes the child’s learning, communication, and emotional development.
Interviews are being held immediately, offering a fantastic opportunity to secure a meaningful role ahead of the new academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the pupil’s social, emotional, and communication development throughout the school day.
  • Adapt classroom resources and activities to ensure accessibility and engagement.
  • Provide support during transitions, break times, and other unstructured parts of the day.
  • Liaise with parents/carers and external professionals when required, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
