Customer Service Executive

Chippenham

Annual Salary: £24,740 per annum

Working Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday

Temporary to Permanent

There are two working pattern options available for this role:

Rotating Shifts: (Shifts rotate on a scheduled basis.)

7:30 am – 3:30 pm

8:30 am – 4:30 pm

9:30 am – 5:30 pm

OR

Fixed Shift:

9:30 am – 5:30 pm

Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Executive to join a well-established organisation in the charitable sector.

Based in Chippenham, this organisation works behind the scenes to support some of the UK’s best-known charities. Their focus is on delivering exceptional donor and supporter experiences through a variety of impactful fundraising campaigns and programmes.

They are now looking for a motivated and personable individual to join their collaborative and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver outstanding customer service via phone, email, and helpdesk to supporters and charity clients

* Process payments and supporter interactions securely and accurately

* Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and meet key performance indicators (KPIs)

* Escalate service issues promptly and appropriately

* Complete administrative tasks including letters, reports, secure data handling, and regular client activity

* Work collaboratively within the team, supporting wider departmental goals

* Cover for team members when required and contribute to team wellbeing and development

Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience in a customer service and/or administrative role

* Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook

* High level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Able to multitask effectively and prioritise workload

* Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

* A proactive and responsible attitude to work

* Minimum of 3 GCSEs including Maths and English (or equivalent)

Desirable:

* Experience in a contact centre environment

* Relevant customer service qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds Level 2, ILM)
